December Daily® 2015 | Day 1 to 6

Finally! I am able to post my December Daily album! I'm already a bit late, need to catch up from day 7 to...today! But still, I am happy to be able to show what I already came up with!

While we are still learning and trying to settle a schedule that allows me to do something else than breastfeeding and cleaning the house, I was SO happy to work on my December Daily album. Those of you who follow me for a while know how much I LOVE this project by Ali Edwards! This year is my 5th year doing December Daily and what a different, exciting one with our baby girl in it!

Salomé, our daughter, has been part of the project a LOT : being at home (she turned one month on Dec. 18!) most of the time doesn't make the whole photo process very creative but we're doing our best! The album looks a bit more like a baby book but I don't care : our December is already so special with her in our lives!

Anyway, I also wrote a post about the supplies I used in my album. You can find it here.

I mainly used my December Daily kit, along with this 6x8 Handbook and Kelly Purkey's Mini Kit.

I made those first pages before Salomé arrived. I knew my album this year would be special and I wanted to work on those few pages as a welcome message for her.

I embossed the big S letter, using Versamark and white embossing powder. The star stamp is from October Afternoon. Then I mixed items from Ali Edwards' DD kit, In a Creative Bubble printables, Elle's Studio embellishments and flair from Studio Calico.

I am in love with EVERYTHING In A Creative Bubble so, even though I had way enough journaling cards or papers in my Ali Edwards' kits, I had to purchase most of the IACB Holiday products because I am a huge fan :)

I altered the embossed 6x8 page from Ali Edwards' kit using Lawn Fawn and Pink Fresh Studio stamps. I handcolored the Lawn Fawn stamps using the Letraset Aqua markers : LOOOOVE those! They are like watercolor markers, you simply color inside your stamp and use a tiny humid brush to dilute the color. Simply amazing! Worth every cent! I also applied the pencil directly on the stamp and misted some water on top before stamping, in order to create the watercolor-like christmas trees.

I also used these gorgeous Pink Fresh Studio stamps with black Versafine to add tiny houses to my background.

You will see a lot of Hybrid Scrapbooking to my album as well : every year, I get to play with Ali Edwards' Digital templates for December Daily. They bring so much design to my album and they are so easy to use.

Now I'm off to print MORE photos in order to play this weekend! and catch up! :)
