VALENTINE'S DAY | Double Chocolate Fondants for your Loved One

Valentine's Day is just around the corner! It's time for lovers all around the world to think about what we're going to prepare for our loved ones for Valentine's Day. It doesn't have to be an expensive gift! It's all about making your loved one feel SPECIAL, so how about a handmade card and a nice dinner?

I have the perfect dessert for you : how about a Valentine's Day Double Chocolate Fondant ?!

Hello Society came up with a very cool challenge for Valentine's Day and I was excited to play! This Double Chocolate Fondant is like my LOVE weapon when it comes to dessert.

RECIPE FOR 16 DOUBLE CHOCOLATE FONDANTS

Preheat your oven to 350°F (gas mark 4).

In a saucepan, melt the butter and then add the chocolate. Mix well together regularly to get a smooth paste without lumps and to prevent it from burning in the pan.

Break the eggs, separating the white from the yolks.

Mix the sugar with the egg yolk until it gets smooth.

Whip the egg whites until they look thick.

Add the melted chocolate to the egg mixture yolks + sugar and mix well. Then add the whipped egg whites to it.

Be sure to add the spoon of flour to complete the recipe.

Fill half of each heart mold with the chocolate dough. Put a square of white chocolate in the middle of the mold and add some more Chocolate dough. Don't fill the entire mold with dough, otherwise your Heart Cake won't look pretty when it's baked.

30-35 minutes in your oven and voilà!

And, as you won't be able to eat all 16 Chocolate Heart cakes, feel free to bring some to your family + friends!
