It's been a while.. | SCRAPBOOK POST!
I have TONs of scrapbook layouts I made for Ali Edwards and One Little Bird, I can't even count them! :( I've been so busy with being a mom and work-at-home mom that it's been tough keeping up with blogging, I must say.
Anyway, here's my November layout I made for One Little Bird design. Did you see that they published their December releases?
I wanted to share with you this brand new layout I recently made about FOOD. Yes, this could have appeared in my Project Life (even I only got started on my 2016 PL for real) but I so loved the restaurant we went to, the food AND the restaurant itself, that it deserved a real layout!
I also wanted to show you that you can easily mix digital stamps along with your favorite real, inky ones.
For this layout, I used the Nosh kit along with the #Hangry brush set (which I LOOOOVE!).
What I did on this layout is :
I chose one of the Nosh kit solid background and used on the the #Hangry brush set (the Pig Out one) for the background and played with the opacity, so that it wasn’t black
I added a couple of tags, labels and paper background under my photos
My photos were mounted onto white slides and then got pasted to my main background
I added the LET’S EAT embellishment
Then I printed everything out on white cardstock.
I then played with several different stamps and inks, both coordinating with the color palette of my layout : some orange, red and black. I never really pay attention to reinking everytime I stamp, so that I get different opacity, just like with Photoshop.
I finished by adding my journaling and my title using chipboards and foam letters.
And voilà!
What do you think?
And what do you cook for dinner tonight?! I wanna know! :D
Take care, friends!
